Where's Pollyanna gone?
My fans (sorry, getting carried away with my good pal Jamie's talk of fan clubs - or the lack of them in his case lol) .... start again. The very kind people who take pity on me and read this blog, may have noticed I'm not being as diplomatic as I used to be.
There are a couple of reasons for that. One is that I am getting angrier and angrier at the attitude of the opposition parties in Scotland who should be providing a robust opposition to us and seem to be completely incapable.
The other reason is that I am thinking of you dear readers. I am leaving for Sri Lanka on Friday 25th January and I've been wondering what to do with my blog. The option which is emerging as the favourite just now is to allow my friend Indypal to take care of Indygal while I'm away. Indypal is a nationalist (obviously, not letting no Unionist near my baby) but is the polar opposite of diplomatic. Now I've warned Indypal not to go too far and he / she has assured me that he / she won't.
But Indypal can be quite naughty and often makes statements simply to provoke arguments. This is not intended to offend but Indypal suffers from a very low boredom threshold and has to stir things up occasionally, just for the sake of it!!
So you see, I'm not being horrible for the sake of it, I'm simply trying wean you all off the Pollyanna type blogs that have become synonymous with Indygal and make sure if Indypal (or Indypals) does (do) take over, it's not too much of a shock for you. As always, thinking of you .... ;-)
