Fantastic Franz
Went to see Franz Ferdinand at the Grand Ole Opry last night and it was fantastic! I’ve never seen them live because you can never get tickets but I got on the guest list 
It was really funny seeing them play in such an unusual venue but it only added to the atmosphere. There was one song which I’d never heard and I thought they were singing “Shopping for Love” but apparently it was BLOOD! I’ll have to look up the lyrics to that one. Anyway the drumming was amazing on that one and the bass went right through me - in a good way of course. In a great way in fact. I’ve always liked FF but I saw last night why they’re one of the few bands from this side of the Atlantic to crack it on the other side. They totally deserve their success. I can update no more today because my “friend” David “fixed” my wireless broadband. Well, he fixed it if that’s code for wrecking it. Still, he tried … so until I can get online at home it’s just short posts for now. You have a lot to be grateful to David for.
